Lawyer Ted Doran has been in his role at the law firm Doran, Sims, Wolfe, and Ciocchetti since he became a founding partner in 1986. Having also spent time as a chairman for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Team Volusia Economic Development Corporation, Ted Doran is a supporter of community organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida aims to create programs that help to support at-risk youth with local clubs throughout region. Each year, the organization hosts a fundraising event called Celebrate the Children, which involves a dinner with entertainment and ends with an auction that raises funds for the organization. This year, the event received a $100,000 grant from the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Walt Disney Company has been a supporter of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida for over 50 years, and two of the organization’s clubhouses, in Pine Hills and Osceola County, were built with funds donated by Disney. This year’s grant money will be used to enhance arts and technology programs, especially at the Pine Hills and Osceola County clubhouses.
